Au Pied de Cochon — Joël Veyssière has a very special traditional french bistro, one that has been going since 1946. While the waiters have changed, not much else has, except its now open 24 hours 7 days a week ; so if you’re feeling like either a ‘pot-au-feu’, a dozen oyters or some of their specialities; pig’s snout, trotters or pig's cheeks flambed over cognac at 3am, you know where to go.

One Friday evening, I ordered a 'margret de canard' and my partner a 'steak pave', to be honest both were a little tastleless, unusual for such classic bistro dishes. However, they didn't stop the crowds gathering at the bar anxiously awaiting a table!

Its a small but adequate menu for two. Menu carte allow €39+ pp for two courses.

KONG — Sweeping view of Paris from the top floor in the Kenzo building. This interior is by 'Monsieur Starck' and the cuisine is a melange of Asian and French. I've not dined here some say its great, others tell me the service has just way too much attitude. Suggest you do some reviews then decide if you're not greeted properly walk away, there's plenty more in Paris.
